Inspired by rock n’ roll and art-pop imagery, this vibrant companion line brings a fresh, design-forward edge to garden seeds. Varieties include Folksinger Sunflower, Black Beauty Sunflower, Purple Haze Basil, and Loaded Lettuce; playful, giftable selections designed to stand out on shelves and at checkout.
Founded by Wisconsin folk musician Trapper Schoepp, the line brings heirloom, GMO-free garden seeds to a new generation of gardeners, artists, and music lovers. A descendant of Swedish royal gardener Olof Johnson, Schoepp grew up with gardening in his roots. The internationally touring songwriter is also the youngest artist to co-write with Bob Dylan on the song “On, Wisconsin,” a collaboration that bridges generations of American folk tradition.
Created in collaboration with New York’s legendary Bentley Seeds; a trusted fresh crop supplier since 1975, each packet pairs timeless seed varieties with bold, art-forward packaging. Originally launched alongside Schoepp’s 2021 album May Day, the collection celebrates agricultural heritage while bringing seeds into new spaces like concerts, record stores, coffee shops, and curated retail.
Each packet includes simple planting instructions and a QR code linking to Trapper’s music.
